Has the immaturity finally ended? It's ironic that those on opposing sides actually agree to it being annoying and aggravating.

Now - I don't want to worry you, mostly because everything is under complete control and nothing is seriously wrong, but Trevor is sick. Since I found him, he's been very lethargic, hasn't been eating, has sores on his back legs, and they have a reddish tent to them.

I found some drops at a pet store, but if it doesn't clear up in several days, I'm going to find a veterinarian and have him checked over thoroughly. So... don't worry; he's going to be okay.

Why must everything be one unsolved riddle after another? Honestly, while attempting to answer one riddle, another one decides to pop up, followed by another and another. It's a never-ending cycle that is coming severely disappointing.

Perhaps it's merely meant to be that. A riddle, that is, and one that's never meant to be solved. Frustrating though it may be, there must be an answer, and I'm intent on finding it. Provided, of course, that there actually is an answer and that we aren't chasing chickens with their heads cut off.

I really hate to write you, especially since I feel like I've asked you far too many favours and given you nothing in return, but I need your help. Only you have to promise you won't say that I asked your help should anyone ask about me. Not that they really would for the time being, but--

I've read all about creating portkeys and I'm pretty sure I could do it easily, but given the length of the trip I need to take, I'm a bit hesitant to try it on my first attempt. Would it be an imposition to ask for one that will take me to Australia indefinitely?

I'll be glad to not go dress shopping again for a very, very long time. After a busy day yesterday, I really hope today isn't nearly as busy hectic as yesterday. I suppose it was fun though, if you're into that sort of thing.

Private to Harry and Ron

I thought Professor Dumbledore wanted us to look for the remaining horcruxes! When I wrote about that rune I couldn't decipher, Lisa Turpin and Dumbledore's own brother said it meant something completely different; it wasn't even a ruin but a symbol for the Deathly Hallows. Ron, you should know the tale behind the three brothers since you grew up in the wizarding world, but the basic gist of it is that it's about three brothers who had/found/fashioned (I haven't gotten the whole story yet, actually) a wand, a cloak, and a stone that brought people back from the dead. Apparently, if all three are together, the person becomes the "Master of Death" - whatever that means.

Why would Professor Dumbledore give us a book about this when he wanted us to look for the horcruxes? It doesn't help our search in the slightest; it's merely just another riddle from him that makes no sense whatsoever!

Hexed Against Death Eaters

I have consulted every Ancient Runes text over the past five years, but none of them had this symbol. For those who might possibly have books I don't have, it would be appreciated if you would look it up. Thank you.

I've been feeling rather reclusive lately and though there is more than enough time to do things, I haven't been motivated to do anything. Unfortunately, that means that others have begun to pick up the slack. Not that that isn't a good thing though; having an additional hand or two is always beneficial. Though, I do honestly apologise for not being an active participant the last few weeks.

I apologise to those who replied to my previous journal entry and were unfortunately met with hostility and aggression. Several individuals know the exact reasons as to why I came off extremely hostile even though it's not a good enough excuse for how I spoke to everyone. Therefore, I am sorry, and will exercise caution with my journal in the future when under the influence my mood isn't exactly a pleasant one.

You two are the most insufferable -- I can't even think properly to come up with a descriptive word!

I absolutely refuse to do the brunt of the work anymore. While I understand the necessity for it and how important it is, I hardly find it fair that I am constantly the only one working on researching everything, deliberating theories, and asking for the opinions of others - most of which aren't entirely helpful, but at least they care enough to add in their thoughts and opinions! We're no longer at Hogwarts and this goes well beyond writing a Charms essay or answering questions from Professor McGonagall, but like Hogwarts, I cannot and will not continue covering your asses!

A Quote:
“Some believe there is nothing one man or one woman can do against the enormous array of the world's ills -- against misery, against ignorance, or injustice and violence. Yet many of the world's great movements, of thought and action, have flowed from the work of a single man. A young monk began the Protestant reformation, a young general extended an empire from Macedonia to the borders of the earth, and a young woman reclaimed the territory of France. It was a young Italian explorer who discovered the New World, and 32 year old Thomas Jefferson who proclaimed that all men are created equal. ‘Give me a place to stand,’ said Archimedes, ‘and I will move the world.’ These men moved the world, and so can we all.”
— Robert F. Kennedy

History repeats itself and according to this and other texts, it's bound to repeat itself again and very soon. Using basic arithmancy and calculating dates of when things happened in the past (both in the wizarding and muggle world) and how things are currently going, history should begin repeating itself relatively soon. The only factor within the equation that isn't know is how it will repeat itself and whether it will be one of those instances where it changes for the better or for the worse.

According to Bellatrix Lestrange, the Wizengamot has supposed evidence that Gabrielle Delacour (aged sixteen for those who haven't been made aware yet) was involved with a group that was planning to assassinate the Minister of Magic. Now, perhaps we should remember that Gabrielle Delacour is a French citizen, a student who goes to Beaubaxtons, and was actually found in France. How exactly could she have been discovered planning an attempted assassination on the English Minister of Magic? Well, according to Lestrange and the Wizengamot, they supposedly have written confessions. Confessions which, I'm sure are in French, so perhaps they misread the evidence within wrong. Perhaps those who wrote to the Wizengamot actually said just how ludicrious these charges are against a sixteen year old girl!

Of course, the Wizengamot allegedly has evidence, but I sincerely doubt that they called in Gabrielle Delacour herself for her statement. Or perhaps they did, but she had been tortured so extensively that she would tell them anything so she didn't have to have more unforgivables placed on. In fact, there is actually a Law that was added in 1923 that disallowed interrogators (or prosecutors, depending on which name you prefer) to use any means of torture to obtain a statement from prisoners. It goes on to say that if torture was used to obtain a statement from the prisoner, then that statement would be inadmissible and another one would be obtained after the prisoner has time to heal properly and gain their senses back enough to tell the actual truth.

Gabrielle, am I right in assuming that you were never present at your own execution trial and that you never took part in planning an attempt on the Minister of Magic?
